Not a Big Girl Yet

Ok, so I am sneaking this post into the middle of others.  I was affraid I would offend some people with the pictures but since I use this as a source for a scrapbook I wanted to be able to document this, so close your eyes if you don't like gross stuff.

It is sort of kind of official that my Gracie has started potty training.  Ok well there is no training.  I just let her try out the big girl potty to see if she was interested.  Although she liked it at the begining she does not understand the idea to sit for a little while.  Right now she sits down for about 5 seconds then jumps up a checks the potty.  hilarious.  She is a funny girl.  But on 1 occasion and only 1 she did poop in the potty and then allowed her to flush it down the toilet.  I made a very big deal of it but she is not interested anymore so there the potty will sit until she is ready.  I did take a picture of her first moment.

My Silly Girl

Not that anyone is surprised when I say Gracie is my Silly girl.  Wild, crazy and fun.  The apple did not fall far from the tree with this one ; )

While Gracie and I were in Cincinnati I got some great pictures of Gracie with her Grandpa.  He was trying to feed her super and then she wanted to feed him.

Baptism

I recently attended my first full Catholic Mass and baptism all in one.  Although, I had been to this church once before for Christina's Wedding I was now attending it to watch her baby be baptised.  Although it was long I think an hour and 15 maybe a little longer, it was intersting wo watch.  I had never seen a baby baptised in a Catholic Church.  It was just like the movies so it meet my  pre-expectations of how I thought it would go.  And whoever the lady that was sing up behind me sound beautiful.  I did get one picture of Matthew and myself at the after party.  And sadly none of the cute gift I got more baby Matthew, but I do have to say it was a cute picture.

The Boys of Fall

It's September, this means a new season of football is beginning and this weekend will be the first of many games.  Just the idea of fall and football games make me so excited.  This video was sent to me & reminded me so much of my husband.  I thought many of you would enjoy this video.

A New Photographer?

Although Gracie is a little young, she might have it in her to be a photographer, its still a little early to tell.  But she really wanted to take a picture with the camera by herself of course.  So we turned it on and showed her how to look and push the button.  Yes it is of me.  I am the best and worst because I would over critized it just because it is of myself, you know just to make sure it is what I consider a good picture of myself and well I was very please.  I think she did a fine job!
