Ode to the Clinton Family

So, my good friend Lily recently posted a blog about farts, yes I said farts. As I responded to her blog I realized I had a lot to say, so this goes out to my friend Lily and to those who understand. Any of you that have boys in your family or just know my husband know that farting is just what happens, it just happens. I too think this is very funny, TBS laugh it up!! I laughed out load as I read her blog. I grew up in a family with 3 boys where the bodily function was laughed at and joked about always. Not that my mother did not try to stop it but it never happened. The loud laughter was always loader then her efforts. I think the only time that we were cautious was when Grandma Baugh was visiting and she would scowl at us and tell us we should call it pass gas with a little accent that made her sound like she just flew in from London. I also had a few girl friends that had fart contest with there brothers, you know who you are!! Then I got married and if you know Troy or his brothers, it is normal, well as normal as it can be. They end up laughing so hard they look like they are crying and I do know on a few occasions in smith center, doors had to be opened and people ran screaming from the house in town. You know of the event of which I speak. It is a normal function in my house and you are lucky if you are laughing because most of the time you are just passed out on the floor. You would think having a girl would change all that but Gracie has her father’s problem. Ok, so it maybe just a baby thing and hopefully she grows out of it but if not there will be no worries were the boys are concerned. If I do have all girls then I will try to pass on that the fart should be looked down upon, but I doubt that this will happen considering all the uncles she has.

I definitely laughed out loud:)
Totally off the subject...there's a new show on TLC called "Table for 12" and they really remind me of you! I don't know it's the way they talk, the accent, or what. I knew something about them seemed familiar, and finally during the 2nd episode, it hit me! :) You should watch the show...it's pretty funny (about a family with 2 sets of twins and sextuplets from New Jersey. Very funny. Example: they're talking about how the mom had to ride in the back of the van on a trip and she said "It was my first time in the back of a car" and the dad interrupts her, elbows her, and says "not your FIRST time" and from then on, every comment had a double meaning...it was really funny.
