A Little Help Needed!

Ok, so Troy and I have had a name picked out but have decided tonight to go back thru our list of both Girl and Boy names to make sure. If you have any thoughts on horrible names we should not use or on names you think would be great we would love all the feed back. It may help us eliminate one from the list or add one. Thanks

Hmmm, you should probably avoid a name like Archibald or Bertha... :) You're having a girl right?? Just covering the bases with the boy's name eh? ha
I'm excited!!!!!

I'm all about checking into the meaning of names. I think it sets the child on a certain path. In the Bible everytime someone has a major change in their understanding/relationship with God they get a new name. Which leads me to a dilema a lady at work is having. She likes the name 'Jackson' which means - 'Son of Jack'. ha, pretty simple, but maybe not the best name since her husband's name is 'Chuck'.

oh I love to hear what people name their babies! My favorite names are names that everyone recognizes (and can spell) but NOT because they know 10 other kids with the same name. A name no one's heard in a while but is still familiar. Something old-fashioned sometimes does the trick. that's my 2 cents :)

Well, you know I love names. My advice (for what it's worth :) Please don't make up a completely new name that no one knows how to spell. Remember her uncle can't spell, so he needs something easy :) Also stay away from typically kiddie names because they might not be so cute when she is 60. Personally I like typical boy names for girls (i.e. Ryun, Alex, etc.). Just some thoughts...I know you guys will pick the perfect name...and if you don't know until after she is born that's okay (her adorable face might be the inspiration you really need)...even though we'll all be dying to know :)
