Back in November I needed some help with pictures on our mantel. I was not sure how many to do or what I was going to put in each frame. Well it is finally finished. I finally ordered the pictures through photopipe and they turned out great.

These Boots were Made for Walkin
I love boots and I love them on Gracie especially with skirts. I am not sure why but I think they are just so cute. Anyway although she has plenty of boots I was hoping for some that looked like Uggs in dark brown. I could not find any and I did not want to pay for them, actually all the boots she has are hand-me-downs. Well, my mom found them and I promised a post of G wearing them so here is my little sassy girl showing off for the camera.
too cute, I did not tell her to do that
and she loves pockets

PT Update
I claimed a while back I would update you on our potty training story/progress. Just a little info, in September I believe Sheila aka me ma, got G to use the potty a few times while she was here. The excitement for G wore off after she left and I was not ready, so we put it on hold. I was hoping to move G to her new room, take away the passi, put her in a big girl bed and then after our trip to Kansas in December start pt. Well of course plans are made to be changed at least that is what it seems in this case. At the beginning of November while listening to the Malone game G decided she did not want to wear here diaper and she did great. She did great with #2's all week, not so good on the #1 and I considered stopping but we kept trying. Now we are in January and for the most part she does pretty well but we still have bad days. I am not sure when the bad bays will be completely gone but I am looking forward to them. You can see from my previous blogs that our new order is moving G's room while pt, traveling while pt, and switch to a big girl bed while pt. Night time pt won't happen for a long while and well we have cancelled the passi from all daytime use. I am not really worried about the passi at night. So that will have to wait till later.
Our little G being a big girl
Much thanks to Auntie Kristen because she deals with the pt situation A LOT during the day and we are grateful for all her help!

Big Girl News
We made a big move this weekend in our house...
no more bumber....
no more bars....
She did great! Gracie has had 2 naps & 2 nights with no bars. The Rule: she is not to get out of her bed unless mom or daddy are there, so she calls for us when she wakes up. She did not fall out once but just in case I do have about 5 pillows on the floor to cushion her fall just in case she does. We are very proud of her.

L-E-T-T-E-R-S
In Gracie's old room I had letters hanging above her bed that I had painted. There is nothing wrong with them and I would like to use them some where in the room or in some other way. Here are the options I have come up with so far:
- Can they be turned into book ends?
- Make it one long hanging name to hang on her door knob?
Any ideas?

A Room in Progress
So although I promised not do this and potty training at the same time, I changed my mind. It's really Gracie's fault, she decided to start potty training 2 months earlier then what was scheduled and I wanted to finish the process of the move. And she has done great and is loving all the space, so am I. I have been wanting to move Gracie's room for sometime but could not decided on what to do in the decorations of the room. I found exactly what I wanted at Marshall's except they are actually fabric shower curtains and thankfully they were on clearance so I made a mad dash for them. From the fabric I am going to make Gracie's bed skirt, once she is in a big girl bed, curtains and a couple of decorative pillow cases. I also had my work print decals of huge flowers that I could put on the wall that I love. That to come later.
Mr Troy painting the pre-Khaki walls to a white color.

I just like the pottery barn clean white feeling.
Plus with all the color I think it will be perfect.
The room after it has been freshly painted and mopped.
The back wall where I have the fabric hanging is where the flower decals will go.

A better shot of the fabric and all the great colors.
The only problem is this fabric does not come close to hitting the floor so I have to come up with something creative for the curtains, any ideas? Maybe color on top and solid on the bottom?
Just a fun shot of Gracie napping while we moved everything out of her room, she literally slept thru the whole thing. I just thought how weird will it be when she wakes up and everything but her bed is gone:)

Cooking in Her Bare Feet
Troy was good enough to snap a couple of pictures of Gracie cooking while I was out. She had her new little apron and new pans. What can I say, the girl loves to cook.

Christmas in Kansas
We had a great time with the whole family however I did not take very many pictures of anyone. So this is what I got of the main event and a couple extras. But none of G with any family, what can I saw, it just did not happen. Just enjoy!
